Be okay with where you are right now!

I was recently attending a marketing workshop and one of the email titles that gets noticed is the one that I used.  I apologize for using it but I wanted to see if what they said was true that I would get more people to open my emails!  lol….   I am not much for advertising or marketing myself but I do know that it needs to be done if I am going to get the word out about my passion to help you become the best You can be.  That is my role in this lifetime!  I just know it.  I believe that we are all Intuitive and I am here to help you...

Inner Peace

What a challenging week it has been for many of us.  Don’t worry!  We are in for a reprieve and things are starting to settle down.  ((Finally!!)) Something that I remind myself of during times of stress is that we are never alone and we are not the only ones feeling the way we feel.  Also This too Shall Pass is something worth remembering when in the midst of chaos. The other night as I drifted off to sleep, I was thinking about a client who asked me, “What if I don’t know what to pray about?” “What if I...

DayDreaming

DayDreaming

Sometimes giving yourself permission to do nothing but to stare into space and just be in the moment is the best prescription we can prescribe for ourselves.  Often times though, we don’t do this.  We tend to think, “After I get this done, or maybe tomorrow”, or our favorite television show comes on so we watch that instead.  We wonder how come we feel tired, stressed out, or bored with life.  Our society pushes us to do this, be that, take this pill, be this way.  There are so many things we can do instead of sitting quietly...

Frustrations of Faerie Gramahood

Frustrations of Faerie Gramahood

I now know what it’s like to have a grand daughter and to watch while her loving parents make the best decisions for them in regards to her.  I stand back and keep telling myself that it is okay they are feeding her virtually all processed foods. The fact is most people eat processed foods without a thought so it isn’t just my kids that are doing it.  We all have a lot to learn to better take care of our health and wellbeing.   With the growing concerns of processed foods with GMO’s and other chemicals that we can’t even begin...

Accepting your Fat

If you are working on losing weight, getting healthier, being more active like many of us are, you know as well as I do that it can be hard work.  Walking by the tread mill even though you hear it calling your name, choosing to ignore the inner voice telling you that the ice cream you are about to eat will give you a tummy ache later, a pain you know all to well each time you eat dairy.  It is things like this that keep us frustrated at our lack of motivation or commitment! What is important is that when we hear that voice within cautioning...

Book & Divine Timing

I am so Excited!!!   I know many of you have been hearing for years (yes I said years!!) about my book.  There were many times I thought I had it finished it so I would announce to you, my clients, sooooon… when actually months would go by. I learned so much by listening to my intuition instead of my ego during this process of “working on my book”.  You see I had it pretty much finished over a year ago (except for minor editing) and if I would have “pushed” it to be published I could have pulled it off.  I...

I Believe in YOU!

Summer is already upon us!  I can’t believe time seems to be speeding by.  In the past year I have been fortunate to travel New Zealand, parts of England and nest in Ireland.  Our dreams can and do come true.  It is so important for us to continue to believe in something higher than us.  Stay positive.  Be Truthful to yourself first and foremost and probably the most important is to keep an open mind.    If I would have been told I would be doing the traveling I am doing now a days, I would have laughed and asked, “Are you...

Endings Into Better Opportunities!

“This too shall pass!”  is a statement I usually think of when going through a challenging situation on any given day.  Never before had I looked at it as something I enjoyed passing away.   Not long ago I was in Port Townsend at a book store I have continued to love and cherish as one of the best in the Northwest.  I am always honored to do intuitive readings from the store always feeling like it was a privilege.  Not long ago, I was driving up to the store which is about a two hour drive along what I think is one of the most...

Changing a Bad day into a GREAT Day!

Posted by on Sep 4, 2013 in Groovy Green Goddess | 1 comment

Much too often as we go through our day we forget our happiness is up to us.  When the guy following too close behind you as you are driving isn’t paying attention because he is caught up in a conversation on his cell phone that he shouldn’t even be on in the first place because he is driving, smashes into you causing you to be late to a job interview that you were already late for, it is so easy to get into a mindset of ‘having a bad day’ which in turn makes for a negative attitude and a somewhat sour attitude as we continue to have...

STRESS

Staying with the parents while we get our Tiny House done has been great in many ways.  It certainly has been an adjustment on all of us.  We have been sleeping out in the van most of the time so it is like camping except we are in the back yard under the trees with a hammock where I can sit leisurely in the shade on a hot day listening to the birds and an occasional squirrel scolding another up in the trees.  There is one sound though that keeps constant through the hours and that is the sawing of wood, and the hammering of nails.  About...
